Hi, my name is Jackie. I'm originally from Kenya, Africa and have lived in Ames for three years. I speak three other languages apart from English. My native tongue is Swahili. I'm a freshman and a little nervous about college. I look forward to meeting new people and making new friends.
My name is Karah Walters. I live in Boone. I have three wonderfull children (four if you include my fiance). My children are Cameron (7), Cassie (2 and 1/2), and Hayden (18 months). I origianlly went to school at Northwest Missouri State a few years back. However, I had no clue what I wanted to do and took time off. Finally, I am going back to school to get my nursing degree, and perhaps further.
My name is Jacque. I have lived in Iowa most of my life. I graduated from Ogden High in 2003. I took a break from school for a few years and now it's time to get serious. I want to teach ESL. Hello, my name is Jade Anfinson. I am from Spirit Lake,Iowa. My major is Early Childhood Education. I also plan on minoring in Elementary Spanish. I am only taking two semesters at DMACC and then will be transfering to ISU in the Fall of 2008.
Hi, my name is Brooke Kvach. I am from Ames, Iowa but am currently liveing in Boone. I work at a day care called, "Child Care Junction" working with infants and children between the ages of three and five. I am also in the Army Reserve as a Military Police. I am in the 339th Military Police Company located in Davenport, Iowa.
Some of the things I like to do in my free time are dancing, singing, and spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy playing with my animals. I have a dog named Scout and a cat named Sweet Orange Squirrel.
I am majoring in Criminal Justice and hope to become a homocide detective. My plan is to move back to California and either work in LA or go back to San Diego.

After graduating from DMACC i plan on transfering to a four year university and continue playing basketball while reaching my degree in Physical Education. Im excited to be at DMACC it seems like a really great place.
